Patchy cloud is clipping the QLD east coast in weakening onshore winds, causing the odd shower. Cloud is forming over the interior in a trough, generating patchy rain and thunder, mainly in the south. Patchy storm clouds are also firing up in moist, unstable air about the Gulf.
