The Battlers appeared at the Young Bowling Club on Saturday evening to a very receptive crowd. They were received with enthusiasm and the night went off very well. The group who consisted of local artists Michael Verde, Shaun Minnick, Kirsten McAlister and Bill Verde were and are overwhelmed at the response to the group.

They have a CD out now, and due to request are bringing another out in a couple of weeks. They are enjoying being on radio stations all over Australia and the feedback is wonderful.

The group are supporting the local radio station 2YYY 92.3 as the station is having difficult time right now trying to stay on air.

The Battlers have volunteered their support as 2YYY support local artists and the community.

The Battlers have quite a lot of engagements coming up, and are looking forward to fulfilling them.

They are also being considered for television, and the CMC channel.

They would like to thank everyone for their support, they won’t forget it!
